Free Bus for Connecting Passenger

Transit passenger in-between of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and vice versa can use free shuttle bus with the operating time from 06h00’ am to 01h00’ am next morning (local time) and with the frequency of 10-15 minutes/trip.

Personal Papers


PASSENGER DOCUMENTS FOR FLIGHTS

(In accordance with Circular 30/2012/TT-BGTVT by Ministry of Transport)

1. For international flight:

Passengers on international flights are required to present passport or travel document or other acceptable documents for immigration as regulated by law such as unaccompanied visa, permanent residence card, temporary residence card (hereinafter referred to as passport); Where children do not have their own passports, the name, date of birth and photos of children are recorded and stamped on the passports of legal representatives, including: father, mother, stepfather, stepmother or guardian.



2. For domestic flight:



2.1. Passengers from 14 years old on domestic flights:


a. For international nationality passengers: passport or exchange notes of diplomatic agency, consular which confirms the identities of passengers and which are attached with sealed photo and with document explaining reason for loss of passport which are certified by local police.

b. For Vietnamese nationality passengers: passport; ID card; identification and certification of the armed forces; National Assembly Delegate card; Communist Party member card; Journalist card; Driving license; aviation security card; identification card of Vietnamese Airlines; ID certification by local resident police.

2.2. Passengers from 12 years old to under 14 years of age without passports or passengers under 12 years old shall meet one of the following requirements:

- Accompanied by legal representatives;

- Accompanied by a passenger on the aircraft during the whole journey, which is registered with the ticketing agency;

- Having the commitment of first route airlines for taking care of passenger until the end of the journey.

2.3. Other than those, Passengers from 12 years old to under 14 years of age without passports or passengers under 12 years old, passengers under 14 years old without a passport on domestic flights must present one of the following documents:

- Birth certificate; or birth confirmation for infant under 01 month old;

- Certificate of social organizations for their feeding children valid for 06 months from the date of confirmation.

2.4. Passengers being prisoners, the accused persons, persons being transferred to other place for further judgment, extradited person, expellee shall present legal documents of competent authority proving the legality as above.


2.5. Documents of air passengers shall be:


- Effective;

- With sealed photo except for birth certificate, security card, identification cards of airlines.

Regulation for Liquids

REGULATION FOR LIQUIDS CARRIED IN PERSON AND WITH CABIN BAGGAGE
(In accordance with Circular 30/2012/TT-BGTVT by Ministry of Transport)


1. Each passenger shall be allowed to carry no more than one liter of liquid in person and with cabin baggage except for liquids (all type of water), condensed liquids, sprays being medicine, milk, foods for babies or purchases made at duty free shops at sterile areas of terminal or in flights.
2. Capacity of the bottle, jug containing liquids carried in person or with cabin baggage shall not exceed 100ml and shall be tightly closed. The bottle, jug shall be put in the transparent bag as regulated in Annex XXVI. One bag is applied for one passenger.
3. Medicine shall be attached with prescription which clearly notify name of doctor, name of patient (the same with passenger’s name). For milk, food for children and babies, they are required to be present.
4. Liquids made at duty free shops at sterile area or in flights shall be accepted to be carried in person or with cabin baggage provided that it is contained in transparent bag of the seller with seal as regulated in Annex XXVI; invoice with following information is put inside the bag at the visible position without opening bag:
- Date of purchase (date/month/year);
- Place of purchase (nation, airport, airlines) following international cose;
- Flight number, passenger name;
- List and quantity of purchase.

Hold Baggage

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS TO BE CARRIED WITH HOLD BAGGAGE

(In accordance with Circular 30/2012/TT-BGTVT by Ministry of Transport)

1. Explosives, explosive materials (bomb, mine, detonators, fuses, fireworks, …) Ammunition unless brought for personal use not exceeding 05kg; securely packed; accepted by Operators and relevant countries.

2. Flammable items in form of solid, liquid, gas, flammable materials or chemicals.

3. Other dangerous items:

- Briefcases, bags, safes and other things attached with alarms.

- Batteries except for: those of a wheelchair or other devices for movement of disabled people which is securely packed and accepted by operator; those of personal electronic device carried in person, with cabin baggage or with checked luggage.

- Cardio machines, drugs containing radioactive materials.

- High heat generating equipment as welders, diving lights, dryer.

- Hair curling machine containing hydrocarbon gas, unless the heat generating components having safety cap; one machine for each passenger to be carried in person, with cabin baggage or with hold baggage.

- Scuba except for: small oxygen tank for patient use which is accepted by operators, to be carried in person, in cabin baggage or in hold baggage; non toxic, non-flammable Scuba used for artificial limbs during the flight to be carried in person, with cabin baggage or with hold baggage.

- Manometer, thermometer mercury

- Dry ice unless accepted by operator and with total weight not exceeding 2.5kg per person.

- Matches, lighters

- Drinks with alcoholic level from 40%; for under 40% alcoholic drinks, each passenger is allowed to bring not exceeding 5 liters contained in smaller than 5 liter container.

- Medicines, hairspray, perfume, alcoholic lotions without radioactive materials even contained in spray container, except for the total amount not exceeding 2kg or 2 liters and not exceeding 0.5kg or 0.5 liter for each type for one person.

- Poisons, infectious substances, corrosives, radioactive materials, oxidising substances, other organic detergents.

Cabin Baggage

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS TO BE CARRIED WITH CABIN BAGGAGE
(In accordance with Circular 30/2012/TT-BGTVT by Ministry of Transport)

1. Explosives, explosive materials (bomb, mine, detonators, fuses, fireworks…)
2. Flammable items in form of solid, liquid, gas, flammable materials or chemicals.
3. Regular items which can be used as offensive weapons for attacking and threatening
- The sharpen points tools including knives, paper knives, scissors, razor blades of more than 6cm sharpen length, needle, sewing needle…
- Hammer, axle, colon, chisels, saws, drills, screws cross-head screwdriver
- Wrench, plier with above 10 cm length.
- Weapon imitating toys
- Sport clubs
4. Other dangerous items:
- Briefcases, bags, safes and other things attached with alarms.
- Cardio machines, drugs containing radioactive materials not for cure purpose.
- High heat generating equipment as welders, diving lights, dryer provided that they are accepted by operator and the heat generating parts or power sources are detached.
- Hair curling machine containing hydrocarbon gas, unless the heat generating components having safety cap; one machine for each passenger to be carried in person, with cabin baggage or with cabin baggage.
- Scuba except for: small oxygen tank for patient use which is accepted by operators, to be carried in person, in cabin baggage or in cabin baggage; non toxic, non-flammable Scuba used for artificial limbs during the flight to be carried in person, with cabin baggage or with cabin baggage.
- Batteries except for: those of personal electronic device including watch, laptop, camera, handy phone and other similar ones.
- Manometer, mercury thermometer except for: Manometer, mercury thermometer of metrological agencies which are securely packed and accepted by operator; one personal thermometer for each passenger which is carried in person, with cabin baggage or with cabin baggage and is contained in safety box.
- Dry ice unless packaging can ensure vapor of dioxide carbon and total weight not exceed 2.5kg for one person.
- Matches, lighters: one match or one lighter for each passenger
- Laser pen
- Poisons, infectious substances, corrosives, radioactive materials, oxidizing substances, other organic detergents.

Size and Quantity of Baggage

Hold baggage allowance is regulated by Airlines basing on ticket class. Some Airlines apply international practice while the other have their own standards. So when buying air tickets, passengers should check carefully to understand these rules.
For hold baggage allowance: According to the standard, category and type of each airline tickets.

For cabin baggage: Each piece will not exceed 7 kg and with total of three dimensions not exceeding 115cm ( corresponding to 56 x 36 x 23 cm or 22 x 14 x 9 inches).

Where the baggage exceeds the quantity, weight, size according to the above provisions, the airline may refuse to accept it as cabin baggage and passenger will be required to process it for hold baggage.
